Five free shows offer chance to check out local music

1. Head out to Western Country Diner for a variety of music, including classic country, live at 6 p.m. Friday, 1905 S. Sheridan Ave. The Green Country Troubadours will make you move your feet in a family atmosphere. Grab dinner while you’re there. All ages. Free.
2. Great jazz is on tap at Main Street Tavern when Eastwood Jazz Company fills the place. The free show will be at 6 p.m. Thursday at 200 S. Main St. in Broken Arrow.
3. Blues master Steve Pryor performs 10 p.m. Saturday at T he Colony, 2809 S. Harvard Ave. Must be 21.
4. Noise musician New Fumes joins PVC Street Gang for a free show, 10 p.m. Saturday at Soundpony, 409 N. Main St. Must be 21.
5. Stalwart guitarman Pat Cook performs a free show 10 p.m. Wednesday at Mercury Lounge, 18th Street and Boston Avenue. Must be 21.
