A free salute to popular band music
Patriotic and popular tunes will be on the play list Saturday afternoon when the Florida National Guard’s 13th Army Band performs a free 2 p.m. concert in the Flanagan High School auditorium at 12800 Taft St., Pembroke Pines.
The 48-member musical group of active Guard members is conducted by Stephen Rivero, 41, Flanagan’s band director. The concert is free to the public, but tickets are required. Get them at http://13tharmyband.ticketleap.com/phi-beta-mu/.
