50 Cent Calls Out Interscope Records Chairman Jimmy Iovine on Twitter

50 Cent Tie50 Cent’s dispute with Interscope continued over twitter after the rapper launched several tweets on New Year’s Eve calling on the label’s chairman Jimmy Iovine to deal with Fif’s concerns. The rapper has grown increasingly dissatisfied with Interscope since the summer and repeatedly taken to twitter to publicize the company’s short comings.

In his recent twitter-based rant, Fif pointed to the 3.5 million views that the video for ‘Put Your Hands Up’ off of his recently released the ‘The Big 10′ mixtape received in only three days and threatened to release more free music if Interscope doesn’t move forward with his fifth album, which is currently untitled. “Ok I need a record deal jimmy iovine, call me early tomorrow or I’m putting out another mix tape,” Fif tweeted. The rapper went on to suggest that he could be looking to ink a deal with another label writing, “Anybody want to sign me I’m a young hungry artist and I work harder then everybody in hiphop call me tomorrow.”

Fif recently vented on twitter after Interscope announced the release of his single ‘Girls Go Wild’ featuring Jeremiah ahead of schedule. While the song has yet to release, a rough snippet of the track dropped on January 1st, although it is currently unclear if the track will be one of the album’s official singles.

Fif has claimed his album has been delayed because Interscope staff are unwilling to move forward with decisions because they are afraid of losing their jobs and he previously refrained from blaming Iovine directly.

The rapper’s fifth album will fulfil his current multi-record deal with Interscope and after the record’s release it is unclear if Interscope will try to resign him, and Fif could very well be serious about looking for a new home for his future albums.
